Tommy
Tommy Shelby (Gangster Spinny and Twisty) is an energetic and loving Russell Terrier who has quickly become a special part of our family. Bred by Spinny and Twist Kennels in Ukraine, Tommy boasts an exceptional FCI and AKC-registered pedigree that includes numerous champions, such as his sire Thor Pride United, a multiple champion across Europe, and his dam Best Jacks Strawberry, a champion in Ukraine.
Tommy’s temperament is one of his most endearing traits. He might just be the sweetest dog in the world, always looking for a lap to cuddle in. Despite his affectionate and cuddly nature, Tommy is also incredibly active, athletic, and intelligent. He’s full of energy and loves to be involved in everything happening around him.
When it comes to quirky habits, Tommy certainly has a few! One of the most unique things about him is his love for opening doors. Not only does he manage to open them, but he also does it in his own special way—running toward a door and “flying” into it with his front paws, almost as if he's gliding through the air to let you know he wants in or out. It’s one of the many ways Tommy stands out from the crowd.
Physically, Tommy is a true example of the breed standard, with show-quality features that reflect his outstanding pedigree. His striking white and brown coat and balanced proportions make him an excellent candidate for showing, and we are excited about his future in our breeding program. While he has yet to sire his first litter, we have high expectations for the temperament, health, and physical quality he will pass on to his offspring.
Tommy was selected for our breeding program because of his incredible lineage and his potential to improve the availability of high-quality Russell Terriers in the U.S. His unique personality and exceptional genetics make him a cornerstone of our efforts to raise top-tier dogs.
One of our favorite things about Tommy is how he can be so full of energy and joy, yet also loves nothing more than cuddling up for a quiet moment with his family. He’s the perfect balance of playful and affectionate, and we are proud to have him as a part of our program.
